Anaesthesia skills training on simulator

To be held at: Clinical Sciences Building, University Hospital, Clifford Bridge Road, Coventry CV2 2DX

Course Directors:  Dr Cyprian Mendonca, Dr Carl Hillermann and Dr Andreas Ruhnke

This is a one day course for senior house officers in anaesthesia who are in their first year of training, including practice of clinical skills and critical incidents on a simulator in a mock theatre set up.

• Airway equipment/ machine check

• Monitoring during anaesthesia

• General anaesthesia for elective and emergency surgery

• Critical incidents
